The Vrtra is a playable class in Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis.
Once a dragon reaches maturity, it will take a new form that reflects their alignment.

Once a Chaotic dragon reaches the stat requirements and levels up, it will evolve into a Vrtra.
Vrtras could be considered the superior dragon type thanks to their Flying movement and passive -1 Mental Gauge penalty to nearby enemies. Other than that, they possess the amazing durability and melee attacks that characterizes dragons, plus a breath attack based on their element. Their only downside is their low Move score, which is easily mitigated by Flying, especially in high elevation terrains.
Zombie Dragons may be able to surpass the Vrtra in usefulness, but only with the right set-up.
It should be noted that any evolved dragon may switch into the Mushu and Naga classes and back by changing their alignment with the appropiate items.
As all dragons, Vrtras cannot earn the Exorcist, The Pen and The Sword, Gibe of the Fallen Angel, Lancer, Berserk, Arbitration, Vixen's Whisper, Broken Heart, Sniper and Fist Fight emblems.
