Vaasa (alternately known as Berthe) is the elemental goddess of earth, and one of the daughters of the Great Father Philaha.

She has a slightly more expanded role in the game's backstory as the mother of Danika, and responsible for sealing her after the latter's corruption. She was also indirectly responsible for the Ogre Battle, by blessing the fields of the netherworld in a bid to rescue Danika from the clutches of Demundza.
She's the goddess of Berthism, Palatinus' traditional religion until Lodis' invasion.
