Tarut, also known as The Witch Tarut, is a descendant of one of the Twelve Disciples in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. She was one of three wise ones sent to the earth by the gods thirty years before the rebels spoke with her. Tarut was rumored to be over a hundred years old and foretold that the Ogre Battle will happen again.
She gave Destin the Gem of Truth, the final gem needed to see the goddess Fellana and receive the Tablet of Yaru. She also spoke on the subjects of the Ogre Battle Legend, the three stones needed to see the Goddess of Justice, and Fellana herself.
