The Tarot are a set of enchanted arcana made up of twenty two different cards. Their first role are to determine the starting statistics for the protagonist. Their second role are battle related.
The player can acquire tarot cards by liberating towns or Roshian Temples. These drawn cards have a variety of beneficial or detrimental effects on the liberators. Drawn cards can be kept and used later in battles. There are a maximum of fourteen cards that can be held at any one time.
