The Tarot are a set of enchanted arcana made up of twenty two different cards. Their role is to determine the starting statistics for the protagonist.

You can acquire tarot cards by liberating towns or temples. These drawn cards have a variety of beneficial or detrimental effects on the liberators. Drawn cards can be kept and used later in battles, the effect being different for each card.
