The Sky Islands consist of the four floating islands of Muspelm, Organa, Shiguld and Shangrila. They were lifted into the sky by the powerful magic of the gods before the Ogre Battle. The islands can only be reached by traveling through the Chaos Gates located on the continent of Xytegenia.
