- "During the Great War, King Rodrick unleashed the power of the Apocrypha to vanquish an entire city, the remains of which float as an island among the clouds"
- — Description
The San Bronsa Ruins, are an optional dungeon in the PSP version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. They can only be visited after Episode 1 of CODA, being unlocked after reading the Talk Topic "San Bronsa Ruins Discovered".
San Bronsa provides the only access to the Divine Knight class, as well as the only place to transform undead units back to human.
History[]
The ruins lie in the Bay of Gobanda, in the north of Valeria's main island. Usually, the region is covered with an impenetrable fog, which had hidden the ruins. The area was once land, but in Dorgalua's Great War, it was decimated by the Apocrypha magic wielded by King Rodrick. The city of San Bronsa, and the land surrounding it, were wiped out.
The Tower of Eternal Law, which stood in San Bronsa, was very ancient. The tower's original purpose, or even who built it, have been lost to time. King Dorgalua is said to have modeled the Hanging Gardens on the tower.
Gameplay[]
San Bronsa is divided into two sections - The Tower of Eternal Law, and The Floating Ruins.
The ruins provide the only opportunity to gain several Instruments and Songs for the Songstress class. Several of the highest tiers of elemental, draconic, and summon spells can also only be found by here by enemy drops.
There is no reward or title for completing the dungeon. The few story scenes it contains are all in the Tower section.
The Tower of Eternal Law[]
This section provides the only means to create Divine Knight units, or transform undead human units back to Human.
The crafting recipe Musical Instruments I can be dropped by several enemies here.
