Pherenian, or Pherenian the Godless, is a non-playable character in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
Pherenian is a Bakram soldier who came into possession of fusils imported from Balboede. He was quickly charmed by the power of the exotic weaponry, laying waste to Resistance forces, and boasting of their superiority to any magic.
Eventually, he was confronted by Denam's Order, and slain.
Gameplay[]
Pherenian is a hidden battle that's only triggered with the following conditions:
- Catiua survives the events of Barnicia Castle.
- Hanzo is defeated at Oeram (PSP version).
- Before the attack on Heim:
- Catiua must permanently die in battle.
- Return to Phidoch Castle for a scene, which will trigger Pherenian's event.
In the SNES/PSX version of the game, Pherenian is the sole story battle on the Boulder Sands map. In the PSP version, he is fought at Oeram.
