Palace Guides

The Palace Guides are usable items in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. These items are guidebooks to the Palace of the Dead, allowing you to skip between floors.

Use

Each Palace Guide can be used as a Shiftstone to remove a character from battle. However, this is not their intended purpose; after defeating Nybeth Obdilord on Floor 100 of the Palace during Chapter 4, the ability to use Palace Guides will be made available during the Coda.

Upon entering battle on the departure floor, you will be queried about whether you want to skip ahead to the destination floor.

Note that this requires the anchor point used to get to the Coda having been generated by a playthrough in which Nybeth has been slain; simply killing Nybeth and then warping ahead to a reality in which he was not killed seems to prevent the use of the Guides.

Crafting

The recipe book Secrets of the Master contains the recipes for each guide. Secrets of the Master is found as a guaranteed drop from Nybeth on Floor 100 of the Palace of the Dead during Chapter 4.
