Norn, also known as Norn the White, is the lover of Debonair in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. She is the warden of the prison in Diaspola.
Story[]
Early Life[]
Norn was ordained a monk at an early age and was the first person to see through the evil machinations of Sage Rashidi. For her accusations against him, she was demoted to a shaman and sent to the rural region of Diaspola to watch over the prison full of political prisoners. Norn brooded in Diaspola and blamed herself for failing to stop Rashidi take control of the Empire.
Prison of Diaspola[]
When she heard that her fiancé Debonair had been killed by the rebels in Xenobia, she was deeply upset and ended up crying throughout the night. While she shared the same ideals as the rebellion, she could not forgive them for killing Debonair, and so she vowed to avenge him and took control of the imperial forces in the area to destroy the rebels.
The Truth[]
Norn admitted to the rebels that she thought about joining them, like Rauny had, but she asked them how she could continue to live when Debonair was dead. The rebels fought and defeated her, and she asked to be put out of her misery so that she could be reunited with Debonair. Destin told her that he still lived and was journeying to speak with Empress Endora. Norn agreed to join the rebels if they would help her find Debonair.

Norn can be found on the Diaspola stage. To recruit:
- Defeat the stage boss Norn.
- Answer "No" to refuse to kill her. Then answer "Yes" to recruit her.
