Necromancy is a special spell type heavily associated with the undead. It's usable only by the Necromancer and Lich classes.
Necromancy is featured in the story of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, heavily so during the Neutral Route and the Palace of the Dead, and mostly represented by Nybeth Obdilord. The debut of the generic Necromancer class in the PSP version also brought a reclassing to previous antagonists and one new character: Cressida Obdilord, thus expanding the role of Necromancy in the story.
Necromancy spells are centered in supporting undead units, affecting stilled or incapacitated units, inflicting special ailments and damaging with Dark Magic. The Arcana needed to learn these spells are obtained from the Shop inside the Palace of the Dead (Floors 24, 65 and 103), and as drops from generic and story enemies in the Palace of the Dead, Pirate's Graveyard and San Bronsa Ruins.
Similar to Draconic Magic, War Dances and Ninjutsu, Necromancy spells need an item cost in addition to the MP cost. These sundries can be bought from Deneb's Shop.
