Marenoa (マレノア), is a non-playable character in Legend of Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia, and the enemy leader of the Lego Archipelago stage.
The people of the archipelago have a thriving metal manufacturing industry, creating major pollution in the ocean. Marenoa was once a kind-hearted Nixie, but changed after coming into contact with Balder. The Knight of Darkness promised to rejuvenate the oceans to their former glory, and Marenoa became a loyal follower. She and other sea monsters embarked on a campaign of violence against humans in the region, killing several.
Marenoa was killed in battle with the Volunteer Army. She died a distressing death, weeping over the ocean's stolen beauty. Aquarius and Cain took pity on her, leading to a crisis of conscience in the group.
Nana saw an apparition of wings above her body, which suggests she may have become an angel after death.
