Leonar Reci Rimon is a character in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. He is a guest character for many battles early in the game, but is never playable.
The second-in-command of the Walister Resistance, Leonar is a serious and pragmatic knight, perhaps overly so. Though he initially objects to Duke Ronwey's plan to massacre the townspeople of Balmamusa, he eventually resigns himself to the task, believing it to be in the greater good.
However, Leonar does differ from the Duke in that his motivations are purely for Walister independence, rather than seizing power for himself. Their diverging ideologies would ultimately break down relations between the two.
In the SNES/PSX version of the game, Leonar reappears as an undead enemy in the battle against Nybeth on level 4 of the Palace of the Dead.

A Walister who once captained the Knights of Almorica. He served as the right hand of Duke Ronwey, and was a vital member of the Resistance. His mother was killed by the Galgastani.
He was a stoic and rational man not easily swayed by emotion.
Lawful Route[]
He set in motion plans to usurp the Resistance leadership during the Bakram invasion of Rhime. Though he succeeded in killing the Duke, he was slain by Denam
Chaotic Route[]
He died in a skirmish with Denam at Coritanae Keep.
Neutral Route[]
He died battling the Dark Knights* during the assault at Phidoch Castle.
*He was actually slain by Catiua.
Trivia[]
- If Arycelle is recruited and deployed during certain battles in the Chaotic Route, it is revealed that her and Leonar were once lovers.
