The Kingdom of Almorica, was a nation that once existed in the south of the Valerian Isles. It was centered around Almorica Castle.
Not much is revealed about the Kingdom of Almorica, but it was the home of the Walister people, who continued to inhabit the region long after the nation dissolved.
Almorica was invaded by the Kingdom of Phidoch from the north, in events that lead to Dorgalua's Great War. By the war's end many years later, Almorica, along with the other four kingdoms of the land, were united as the Kingdom of Valeria, under the rule of Dorgalua Oberyth Valeria. After the break-up of the Kingdom, Almorica's land fell under Galgastani control, who subjugated the Walister to slave-like status.
Many legacies to the former kingdom still prevail. The Walister Resistance still use Almorica Castle as the base of their operations, and their highest order of knights still name themselves the Knights of Almorica.
