Hayato (ハヤト), is a playable character in Legend of Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia.
Hayato is a Samurai mercenary, hired to protect the town of Breya in the Freya Archipelago from monsters. He left quite an impression on the locals, with his ability to fend off dragons single-handedly. His contract over, the Volunteer Army provides a chance at his next paying job, should Tristan accept his asking price of 50,000 Goth.
Despite his mercenary lifestyle, Hayato does have some moral fibre. When he learns that Belgo has been behind the violent surge of monster activity, he regards him with cold contempt.
Recruitment[]
Recruiting Hayato requires unlocking the secret Freya Archipelago stage, only available on the Chaotic Route. He is found in the town of Breya.
His class is Samurai, but he already meets promotion requirements to Samurai Master at the time of his recruitment.
