The Gryphon (alternatively spelled Griffin or Griffon) is a class in Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. Monstrous demi-birds of prey, these beasts are often used during war to viciously attack enemy forces.

The Griffon has appearance of a lion, with the head of an eagle with wings. The Griffon is a high flying monster that can make any unit it joins acquire the High Sky movement type. It also possesses the ability to be useful in both rows, being a physical defender in the front or being more offensive in the back with a powerful wind gust that hits all enemies.
