Gloth (グロス), is a playable character in Legend of Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia.
Gloth is the warden of Sykt Prison in the Norodom Region. Though he's a samurai, he has little in the way of honor, and is only ever out for money and power.
When the Volunteer Army arrives to liberate the prison, Gloth protests that he would face retribution from Balder. When Tristan offers to handle Balder, Gloth demands that Tristan also reimburse the kickbacks he would lose, with interest. He also adds women to the price of his cooperation. In the end, Tristan and co. are forced to do battle against him and his hired protection.
He can be recruited after being defeated, if Reputation is below 55. Rather than a change of heart, he only tags along for the prospect of money.
