Frederick Raskin is a non-playable character in Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber.
Story[]
Frederick is the leader of the Palatinean Revolutionary Army. He is a politician and strategist, rather than a soldier. His goal is to reclaim Palatinus' independence from the Holy Lodissian Empire, and abolish the caste system they imposed. Though some in the Revolutionary Army feel differently, Frederick does not wish to abolish the royal family or kill the nobility.
After the success of the revolution, Frederick was installed as the new king of Palatinus, succeeding King Procus, who died in the war. King Frederick was known as Frederick the Benevolent, for his altruism and humility.
Several years into his reign, Frederick was killed in the midst of a major war.
Personality[]
Frederick is a level-headed, calm, and pragmatic leader. He welcomes members of all backgrounds into the Revolutionary Army, including foreigners and former enemies. His compassion is such that he comforted his captor - a young and confused Magnus Gallant - even as his own execution drew near.
