The Fortune Teller is a non-playable character in Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis. Her questions dictate the alignment, element, starting emblems, stats, items, and initial squad of the protagonist through a series of choices.

Fortune Reading

At the start of the game the player will be given a questionnaire. The answers given here won't have an effect in the story progress, but will determine Alphonse's starting alignment, element, emblems, and their first companion's classes.

The values of the questions are cummulative, meaning that the highest scored value will become the chosen value (ex: If two values of Fire were chosen, it will be Alphonse's element); in addition, every question has a value in Points, which determine the initial player's party, items, and a boost to Alphonse's base stats.
