Figaro is one of the four Devas in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. Rumor has it that he was the prince of a small kingdom but no one seems to know for certain. Figaro was loyal to a fault, a close friend of his former Deva Debonair, and the the owner of the magical sword Durandal. He was also a black knight like Prince Gares. Known as one of the best swordsmen in the empire, his trademark move "Down Claws" was said to be able to cut a dragon in half.
Empress Endora sent Figaro to the cursed lands of Kalbi Peninsula to halt the rebellion's rapid progression westward. Figaro was unsuccessful in his attempt to stop the rebels as he was killed by Debonair. He gave Debonair his sword Durandal and told him to save the highlands, before he passed away.
