Daemons are a non playable class in Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber and Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis.
Appearances[]
Daemons in Person of Lordly Calibur resemble the classic devil with horns, bat-wings, goat like hooves and a long tail. They wear a metal cuirass and gauntlets.
Daemons in Knights of Lodis appear similar, but are unclothed, tailless and have feet instead of hooves.
Overview[]
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Calibur[]
Daemons exclusively appear as rare enemy unit leaders. They fight similarly to the Saturos but are immune to Love and Peace. Daemons use one handed axes, and can lead legions, though curiously they never do the latter. Daemons normally do not possess an Element like other demons, however there is an individual exception with Frohm the idealist, who has a wind element. Contrary to their appearance, Daemons cannot equip armor or anything other than axes.
Tactics Ogre: The Knights of Lodis[]
Daemons appear as an enemy class in the mid-late game that cannot be recruited. Daemons have axes as their preferred weapon and can wield 2 out of any Bane magic spells. At level 15, they get the Summon Darkness spell to call Ghost allies to the field of battle.
Recruitment[]
Daemons cannot be recruited in any of their appearances.
In Knights of Lodis, Saia the Lesser Daemon has a nearly identical class except without the ability to use summon Darkness nor the Fluid Magic, Fiend's Grip and Necromancy Bane spells, unlike regular Daemons who have the same spell set as the Lich class. Saia's class possesses the same growth rates and weapon type preference as regular Daemons.
