Sharom District is a stage in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. This area is known as Charlom, and the city of Parcival is known as Peshaval in the PSP version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
History[]
Charlom existed as autonomous territory holding strong relations with Xenobia before the war. When the Sacred Xytegenian Empire invaded, the governor of the region Gilbald O'Brien surrendered unconditionally. The Empire imposed heavy taxes and a conscription shortly thereafter. Gilbald, Canopus Wolph and his sister Iuria Wolph were all born in the city of Peshaval.

Events During Stage[]
- Liberating the town of Chang'Gal (SNES) \ Lenikan (PSX) will reward the player with a Moon Rose (MOONROSE). This item cannot be received if the player has liberated Latingurue (SNES) \ Chang'Ga (PSX), spoken with Canopus, and then revisited Latingurue (SNES) \ Chang'Ga (PSX) before liberating Chang'Gal (SNES) \ Lenikan (PSX).
- To recruit the special character Canopus, the player must follow these steps before completing the stage:
- Liberate Latingurue (SNES) \ Chang'Ga (PSX).
- Liberate Bah'Wahl. Failing to answer "Yes" to at least one of his three questions makes him upset and means that you can't meet Yulia or get the Wing of Victory.
- Revisit Latingurue (SNES) \ Chang'Ga (PSX) to hear a rumor about Canopus' sister Yulia. Liberate the hidden Roshian Temple to the west of the enemy base Parcival. Yulia explains the schism between Canopus and Gilbert and asks if the player can help. An answer of "Yes" gives the player the Wing of Victory (WING). An answer of "No" results in a decrease in reputation and no item.
- Revist Bah'Wal to give the item to Canopus. Answering "Yes" to his question will recruit him and give an increase in reputation, while answering "No" will refuse him entry into the rebel army and give a decrease in reputation.
- To recruit the special character Gilbert, the player must follow the steps to recruit Canopus and then do the following:
- Have a unit containing Canopus come into contact with the enemy commander to have a special set of dialogue between Canopus and Gilbert. This does not have an impact on recruiting Gilbert.
- After defeating Gilbert, answer "Yes" to Canopus' plea to have Gilbert join the rebel army and an increase in reputation. An answer of "No" will result in Gilbert being executed and a decrease in reputation. It is interesting to note that Canopus will not leave the rebels if Gilbert is killed.
Events After Stage[]
- Revisit the town of Lenikan (SNES) \ Anatoll (PSX) to speak with Babaloa the witch, who provides historical information about the Xytegenia wars.
