Carth Forleizen, also known as Carth the Disillusioned, is a playable character in Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber.
He was formerly a knight of Lodis but left after becoming disillusioned due to the Brigade of the Radiant Cross succumbing to the Infernal Aura. He wanders around Ptia, the Secluded Land and attempts to kill Amazeroth Ludon.
Recruitment[]
Carth can be recruited during the Scene The Disillusioned, at Ptia in Chapter 4, but only if:
- The player is yet to march on Latium (or else the player will be forced to fight Carth).
- Chaos Frame is low-to-medium.
- No Zenobians have been recruited.
Visit the town of Furge, and a boy will talk about a man facing the soldiers all alone. Then, go to Torab Ni for a scene with Carth. Afterwards, Carth's unit will march to Vitegith Castle to face Amazeroth.
If Carth survives the completion of the stage, he will offer to join the Blue Knights. If conditions 2&3 aren't met, he will return to Lodis to continue his fight.

Trivia[]
- He shares many similarities with Ozma Moh Glacius from the PSP version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. Both are very proud Lodissian knights who feel betrayed by the sordid actions of their unit, and may defect to the player's army. Furthermore, neither of them fully let go of their homeland. They both wish to return to Lodis to fight corruption.
- Carth's ending scene suggests he becomes friends with Sheen Cocteau and Paul Lukische during his time in the Blue Knights.
