Cain, is a playable character in Legend of Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia.
He is a friend to the young Tristan, who he looks up to like older brother. Together, the two boys train under the knight Estrada, eventually forming the core of a volunteer army, targeting bandits terrorizing the area. Unlike Tristan, Cain is more inclined towards magic.
Cain is automatically recruited from Stage 1. He is an offensive spellcaster, with the unique class of Valet. The name refers to his servant-like loyalty to Tristan.
