The Black Dragon is a class in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSX). It is known as the Dark Dragon in the PSP remake of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. This particular breed of dragon is found within inhospitable mountain passes and treacherous forests, eager to breath poisonous fumes onto its victims.

Covered in black scales with a yellow underside, the Black Dragon is the lower alignment form of the base Dragon. The Black dragon uses physical type acid attacks in the back row and retains the ability for two bite attacks in the front. With its high hitpoints, this dragon is suitable to soak up damage in the front row, and like all dragons it excels with a Dragon Tamer or Dragon Master leading it. When the Black Dragon reaches Level 15 and has an Alignment of 0-35 it can be promoted into a Tiamat.
