The Beast Tamer is a class in Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. The Beast Tamer's job is to work the beasts under their control into a frenzy during a fight and guide them towards their enemies. They are found throughout the world where beasts are employed in war.

Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen[]
The Beast Tamer has the appearance of a balding, grey haired old man in a grey tunic with brown high boots. He wields a whip which he uses against his enemies as well as the beasts he controls. A versatile unit that can be used in either row, the Beast Tamer also works well with beast type classes, boosting their stats. When he reaches Level 12 and has a Charisma of 60+ and an Alignment of 10-50 he can be promoted into a Beast Master.
