Ambicion, or Anbicion, is the sword wielded by Lanselot Tartaros. It features in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together and Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis.
The sword also appears briefly in Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, but is not obtainable.
Background[]
Ambicion was a sword bestowed by God to humans during the Ogre Battle. It was named after a King Anbicion, its original wielder.
The blade came into the possession of the Shaher, a fallen angel, who was later sealed on the island of Ovis. A young Lanselot, then known as Alphonse Loeher, thwarted Shaher's corruption of the island and attempted resurrection, but lost his young love Eleanor Olato in the aftermath. Symbolically, Lanselot took the weapon of the fallen angel for his own, and ultimately turned his life down a darker path.

Ambicion can be dropped by Lanselot Tartaros during the final battle of CODA Episode 4. However, the following requirements must be met:
- Only Denam, Catiua, and Vyce can be deployed.
- All three characters must survive the entire battle.
- Lanselot must be the last enemy alive.
Only then can Lanselot be killed, giving the sword a chance to drop. Any other circumstance, and he uses a Shiftstone to escape.
Ambicion is still the same sword that Lanselot uses at Barnicia, so it's quite underpowered, given how late it's acquired.
