The Amazon is a class in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen and Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber. The base unit for all humanoid female characters, the Amazon is quickly outdated and replaced by more advanced classes because of her weak physical resistance and damage dealing capabilities.

Amazon's sprite in Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen A blonde, lightly armored women with a bow who prefers fighting within the forest. This class typically belongs in the back row because of its low resistances and the ability to fire two arrows instead of a meager one in the first row. The Amazon is the base class for all humanoid female characters and can later be upgraded into a Witch if the Amazon is Level 5, has 50+ Charisma and an Alignment of 0-65. To upgrade to a Cleric the Amazon needs to be Level 4, have 50+ Charisma and an Alignment of 50+. To upgrade into the illustrious Princess class all the player needs to do is use the Dream Crown item on any Amazon.
