Aerial is a mermaid of Rana in Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis.
Story[]
The self-professed strongest mermaid is disciplined and unmerciful in her approach to dealing with humans.
When Alphonse Loeher saved the life of her sister Minerva on Arena and defeated Aerial in battle, she said she would never reveal the location of the Mermaid Sanctuary. However, Alphonse opted for mercy and met with her leader, Chloeri. After learning the truth of what happened to her sister, Aerial wished to join Alphonse to learn if humans could be trusted, with a stern warning of a spear to his back if he betrayed her.
When Chloeri passed on, Aerial took command of the mermaids with an understanding that there were humans that she could trust, and passed that knowledge unto her followers.
